Vitamins

Vitamins are micronutrients that the body needs for numerous normal functions. It cannot produce some of them itself, or not in sufficient quantities, and therefore absorbs them through diet.

What is Vitamin C?

Vitamin C belongs to the water-soluble vitamins and is one of the most well-known micronutrients. The human body cannot produce vitamin C itself and is therefore dependent on dietary intake.

Bitter Herbs

What's behind it?

Bitter-tasting plants have long been part of nutrition and herbal medicine. The term "bitter compounds" does not describe a single chemical group, but rather various compounds with a bitter taste.

These include, for example, gentian, wormwood, chicory, dandelion, and artichoke.

Quercetin

What is Quercetin?

Inulin

What is Inulin?

EPA & DHA

What are EPA and DHA?

EPA and DHA are long-chain omega-3 fatty acids.

Reishi

What is Reishi?

Reishi is the common name for Ganoderma lucidum. In German, it is also known as the "shining lacquer bracket" (Glänzender Lackporling).

Reishi is particularly well-known from Asia, where it has a long history of traditional use.

What is Hericium?

Hericium erinaceus is a striking mushroom with long, hanging spines. In German, it is often called "Igelstachelbart" (hedgehog spine beard).

What is Agaricus?

Agaricus refers to a group of mushrooms. In the field of vital mushrooms, Agaricus blazei is particularly used.
